Galloway, N.J. - The presidents of 乐播传媒 University and Brookdale Community College today announced a new partnership that will help students make a smooth transition from the two-year college to 乐播传媒鈥檚 four-year bachelor鈥檚 degree program.

The Transfer Pathways program strengthens the relationship between 乐播传媒 and Brookdale by offering multiple opportunities for students to seamlessly pursue associate and bachelor鈥檚 degrees at the two institutions of higher education.

乐播传媒 President Harvey Kesselman said he is excited to strengthen 乐播传媒鈥檚 excellent relationship with Brookdale and provide Brookdale students the opportunity to earn a four-year degree. 

"This agreement offers students the support they need to begin building their 乐播传媒 degree at Brookdale Community College, and provides the assurance that they can have a smooth pathway to a bachelor鈥檚 degree at 乐播传媒,鈥 Kesselman said.

The terms of the agreement include:

Students who do not meet all of the 乐播传媒 admissions criteria can receive conditional dual admission in partnership with Brookdale. Students will attend classes at Brookdale but have access to campus activities and student groups at 乐播传媒 and receive a special 乐播传媒 Identification card.

  • Students who successfully complete their associate鈥檚 degree at Brookdale can automatically transfer to 乐播传媒 with junior standing to complete their bachelor鈥檚 degree. Application fees to 乐播传媒 will be waived for eligible students.
  • Students who complete at least 45 credits at Brookdale, and a total of 64 credits between the county college and the four-year institution, are eligible to receive a retroactive associate degree from Brookdale.
  • 乐播传媒 and Brookdale will develop specific program-to-program articulation agreements for high-demand majors to facilitate the quality and ease of transfer.
  • Students will receive joint advising from 乐播传媒 and Brookdale and a 乐播传媒 advisor will have office space and a regular schedule at Brookdale.
  • Students will be eligible for financial aid from whichever institution they are attending. 乐播传媒 will provide five one-year scholarships of $2,000 per year to Brookdale graduates whose admission to 乐播传媒 is covered by the agreement.

乐播传媒 already has similar agreements with Atlantic Cape Community College and Camden County College and is pursuing additional partnerships with other community colleges in the state.
