Academic Information
Preceptors, students and parents can use these links to further clarify the advising process at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ University.
The student and preceptor relationship is highly valued at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. We view advising as teaching. Preceptors must be available to meet with students and help them plan a course of study that meets their educational goals. Students are responsible for learning curricular requirements, clarifying their long-range educational and career goals, and preparing for advising meetings. The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Advising Council has endorsed a "best practices" document for students and preceptors.
