NJ Transfer information
NJ Transfer is a tool that can be utilized to find course equivalencies across NJ community colleges to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. Potential ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students can utilize NJ Transfer to see which courses they should be taking at their community college to prepare them for a smooth transition into their Bachelor degree program at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. Current ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students can also utilize NJ Transfer to see course equivalencies if they are considering taking summer/winter courses at their local community college. Simply visit to utilize their tools.
How do I know which courses I should choose at my community college if I want to come to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ after?
- Go to .
- Click "Students" drop down.
- Click "Transfer Programs".
- Select your community college in the "Transfer from" drop down.
- Select "ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ University" in the "Transfer to" drop down.
- Click on your intended major at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½.
- A guideline of courses at your community college will appear that have been reccommended by ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ to transfer into the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ program.
How do I figure out what the equivalency is for my ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ course at a community college for current ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students?
- Go to .
- Click "Students" drop down.
- Click "Find course equivalencies".
- Select your community college in the "Transfer from" drop down.
- Select "ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ University" in the "Transfer to" drop down.
- Click "List all equivalencies".
- Click the boxes next to "Active courses" and "Courses evaluated for transfer only".
- Click "Search".
- Scroll to find the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ course you need on the right hand side, and the community college equivalent will be listed to the left of it.
- Fill out the "Permission to take courses at another institution form" and get it signed by your preceptor, program chair, and an academic advisor.
- After taking the course, be sure to send your offical transcript to the Registrar.
